A Writers' Lunch

Today I hosted a writers' lunch at my house.
We had lovely food and great conversation, which included all topics of writing, publishing, life and everything in between!
Between the five of us we sorted out the publishing world, discussed books, romance, sex, ate, drank, talked about travel and living overseas, the start of the credit crunch mess, being a parent, ate, drank... you get the picture.
I thoroughly enjoyed meeting these lovely, intelligent women and hope to do it again soon!

From left to right; Maggi, Rachel, me, Monique and Wendy.
Merry Christmas, ladies and thank you for a great day!

What a lovey photo, you all look as if you are having a fantastic time - and I'm soooo jealous.
Esecially since it's warm where you are! It's wet and freezing in London, emphasis on the wet.

Ditto Anita, mostly. Pity there's half a world between us. Check out my blog and see our weather over the last few days! It'll make you glad you are in the southern hemisphere!

Anne, I've often wondered what a gaggle of Authors would talk about. You guys all look happy. Thank you for sharing.

I love it when writers get together.
We never stop chatting :)

I love spending time in the company of other writers. It's always good to know other people who are likely to hear voices and still seem perfectly sane.

Good on you all for having this writer's get together. It's wonderful talking to writers as they know where you're coming from when you talk about the voices in your head! ;) Glad it was a lovely lunch and I can't believe how great RC looks for having just come off of a long distance flight!

Hi Anne,
You and your ladies certainly look like you are having an enjoyable day. I only wish I lived closer and could have come, too.

Thank you for sharing this with us... How I would love to be there with you. I haven't any writers who live near to me to get together with... Thank God for the internet...lol

Best wishes and have a great Christmas,
Annie
